Sister's style

The above pic is not between me and my husband! It's actually me and my sister! And we actually picked the same style of ring! Exactly same style! My sister got married 3 years ago and I never really paid any attention to her wedding ring. So, it never really occurred to me that I actually picked the same style of ring with her! When I show her my ring, she was surprised as it's the same one. What can I say? It's sister's style. And I am really glad and happy to have the same style with her! 

Wedding flowers

I have to admit. This is not exactly what I wanted for my wedding flowers! 

I wanted something more unique and less rosy. 

But the florist don't have anything else except roses and African daisy. I not sure whether they have any other flowers or not, or maybe just that I am not aware. Anyway, the florist non stop showing me roses after roses. Thus, this Marie-pink roses is the nearest to what I wanted. 

Although it doesn't end up like what I imagined it to be, it still served its purpose to be my wedding flower. In order to keep a souvenir for my registration ceremony, I have dried the rose petals. I have something in mind on what I want to do. Hopefully it will success. Will share more next time. 

Ring pillow revealed

It's revealed......

This is the ring pillow that I get little Ed hold during my registration ceremony. 

As I expected, a lot of people commented its more baby theme than a wedding theme. 

Haha.

Finally..........

Everything went well! From the venue till the schedule.  

Really thankful to all friends that attended my registration of marriage today! 

I felt so blessed! 

12 hours

Everything is ready......

Ring, ring pillow, flower bouquet, dress, high heels, make up .......

I hope I didn't miss out anything......

Can't believe in another 12 more hours, i will be changing my status from single to married! 

To be able to find such a matching life partner is a blessing. 

I am really thankful. 

I need to get some sleep now else a panda will be reading the bride's vow tomorrow.

Ring pillow - part 3

I completed the ring pillow in 3 hours! Felt so proud of myself! 

Decided to keep the actual outcome secret till 29th June. It shall be revealed with Edward holding it to the registration office. So far I only show it to my Oppah and also my sister. 

I am so satisfied with the outcome! Love it!

It's button! 

Aren't they look cute? I know a toy rocker horse is actually more on a baby theme compared to a wedding theme. I really debated for quite long on whether should I get the butterfly or this .....

But eventually, I picked this because I just love the cuteness and also the dreamy feeling it gave. After all, it's my wedding. Can't wait to fix it to my ring pillow......

Ring pillow - part 1

After so many months of thinking but not doing, finally I start to do it. 

Halfway sewing the brim, I told myself to add sewing machine into the wish list. Sewing by needle is just so time and effort consuming. 

Another 53 days to ......

Yes ...... In another 53 more days I will be legally Mrs. Chan. Can't believe the proposal balloon still surviving since January.

Countdown started!

The date is fixed! We will be having our Chinese traditional wedding ceremony on 14th September 2013!

That is just a mere 224 days ahead! So many things to do! So many things to prepare! Not to mention the most headache guest list!

Praying God will continue to bless us as we preparing for this wedding!

He asked and I say yes!

He asked the question and I just answered "yes"! Looks like there are a lot of preparation work that I need to do in the upcoming few months!
